Putin Will Send 150 thousand troops to Syria - The Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, reportedly is preparing a major military mission to take over the city of Raqqa ISIS radical groups. ISIS has declared Raqqa as the capital of the group and is guarded by 5,000 members.
Putin earlier this week reportedly has mobilized 150,000 army reservists who came from conscription. "It is very clear that Russia would like to sweep the western part of the country to take Raqqa and all the oil and gas resources around Palmyra," said an internal Russian government source as quoted from page Express, Sunday (10/04/2015).
"It's like a race to eventually conquer Raqqa, in order to secure the oil fields they need to clear the area of insurgents and ISIS. And it is of capital importance," he added.
